Privacy Policy

Version 1.0 · Effective 31 July 2026

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains what information is processed in connection with Mage Rush (package com.TAIG.TAG_CastleRush), a mobile game developed and published by Think About It Games (the “Developer”, “we”, “us”, “our”), and how that information is used.

It applies to the Mage Rush application on all platforms and store listings on which we publish it, and to any related services we operate for the game (together, the “Game”). In this Policy, “you” and “Player” mean the person who installs or plays the Game.

By downloading, installing or playing the Game you confirm that you have read and understood this Policy. If you do not agree with it, do not install or play the Game, and uninstall it if it is already installed. This Policy forms part of, and should be read together with, our Mage Rush Terms of Use.

1. Summary in plain language

2. Who is responsible

Think About It Games
Paronyan 6, Yerevan, Republic of Armenia
E-mail: ThinkAboutItGames@gmail.com

The Developer is the data controller for the limited data described in this Policy, within the meaning of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “On Protection of Personal Data”, and — where it applies to you — the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation. Think About It Games is an independent studio; e-mail is the correct and sufficient channel for every request under this Policy.

3. What the Game processes

3.1 Data that stays on your device

Your saved game — level progress, unlocked and upgraded spells, in-game currency, statistics, audio and control settings — is written to the local storage of your device. This data is not transmitted to us, and we cannot read it remotely. Deleting the Game, or clearing its storage in your device settings, deletes it.

3.2 Gameplay statistics (developer analytics)

The Game reports technical gameplay events so that we can see where the design fails and fix it. These events describe the state of the Game, not the identity of the person holding the phone. Typical events are:

Each event may be accompanied by basic technical context needed to interpret it: device model, operating system version, screen resolution, device language and country, and a randomly-generated installation identifier. That identifier lets us tell one anonymous progression curve from another; it is not linked by us to your name, your e-mail address or any account, and it is regenerated if you reinstall the Game.

We do not collect the content of anything you type, your contacts, your files, your browsing activity outside the Game, or your precise location.

3.3 Crash and performance diagnostics

If the Game crashes or performs badly, a diagnostic report may be generated containing the technical state of the application at that moment — the error, the code path, the device model and the operating system version. These reports exist to make the Game stop crashing and are not used to identify individual Players.

3.4 Advertising

Mage Rush is free to play. Where a build of the Game includes advertising, including optional rewarded videos that you choose to watch in exchange for an in-game benefit, the advertising software supplied by the ad provider may process a resettable advertising identifier assigned by your operating system, together with coarse technical and delivery data, in order to select, display, cap and measure advertisements. This processing is carried out by the ad provider under its own privacy policy and in its own right; the Developer does not receive your advertising identifier for its own purposes and does not use it to build profiles. You can reset that identifier, or turn off ad personalisation entirely, in your device settings at any time.

3.5 Platform sign-in and cloud saves

Where the Game offers an optional sign-in through a platform gaming service (for example Google Play Games Services) and you choose to use it, that service provides the Game with a platform-issued player identifier and display name so that achievements, leaderboards and cloud saves can work, and it stores your cloud save on the platform’s own infrastructure under the platform’s privacy policy. This is optional: the Game is fully playable without signing in, and you can revoke the connection at any time in your platform account settings.

3.6 Purchases

Where the Game offers paid items, the payment is taken and processed entirely by the platform store (for example Google Play). We never receive, see or store your card number, bank details or billing address. We may receive a confirmation that an entitlement was purchased, refunded or cancelled, so that the Game can grant or withdraw the corresponding item.

3.7 If you write to us

If you send us an e-mail, we necessarily receive your e-mail address and whatever you choose to put in the message. We keep that correspondence for as long as needed to deal with it and to keep a record of what was asked and answered.

4. Why we process it, and on what legal basis

5. Who else is involved

We do not sell, rent, license or trade personal data, and we do not disclose it for anyone else’s independent marketing. The only parties that receive data in connection with the Game are:

The definitive, per-version list of software development kits present in a given release is declared in the application manifest and reflected in the “Data safety” section of that release’s store listing.

6. Age and children

The Game’s age rating is assigned through the rating system that applies in your country and is shown on the store listing. Ratings and availability differ between countries, and it is the store — not the Developer — that determines which rating and which distribution rules apply in each territory.

Separately from that content rating, the law of your country sets the age at which a person can consent to the processing described in this Policy — commonly 13, and up to 16 in parts of the European Economic Area. The Game is not directed at children below that age, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. Where a Player is below that age, the processing described here requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian, who should decide whether the child plays.

If you are a parent or guardian and you believe a child in your care has provided us with personal data, write to ThinkAboutItGames@gmail.com and we will delete what we hold. Your device and platform-store settings also let you turn off ad personalisation, restrict purchases and apply content controls on a child’s device.

7. How long it is kept

8. Your rights and how to use them

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask us for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to have its processing restricted, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to withdraw a consent you previously gave (without affecting processing already carried out), and to receive your data in a portable form.

To exercise any of these rights, e-mail ThinkAboutItGames@gmail.com. We answer within 30 days, or within any shorter period required by the law that applies to you. So that we do not hand your data to someone else, we may need you to provide enough information to establish that the request is genuinely yours — for a pseudonymous installation identifier, that normally means supplying the identifier itself, which is shown in the Game’s settings or support screen. If we genuinely cannot connect any data we hold to you, we will say so and explain why.

You can also act without contacting us at all: reset or delete your advertising identifier and turn off ad personalisation in your device settings; sign out of, or disconnect, the platform gaming service; delete your cloud save through your platform account; and remove all local data by clearing the Game’s storage or uninstalling it.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. If you are in Armenia, that authority is the Personal Data Protection Agency of the Ministry of Justice. We would prefer you write to us first so that we have a chance to fix the problem.

9. International transfers

We operate from the Republic of Armenia. The providers described in section 5 are international companies and may store and process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where such a transfer involves personal data protected by EU, UK or Armenian law, it takes place under the safeguards those providers put in place, such as standard contractual clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

10. Security

We keep the amount of data we hold deliberately small, which is the strongest protection available to a studio of our size, and we rely on established providers with their own security programmes for what we do transmit. Nevertheless, no method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot and do not guarantee absolute security. You use the Game and send us information at your own risk, to the extent permitted by the law that applies to you.

11. Advertisements and links to other services

Advertisements shown in the Game, and any website, store or application they lead to, are operated by third parties over whom we have no control. Their content, their data practices and their privacy policies are their own responsibility, not ours, and this Policy does not apply to them. Review their policies before providing them with any information.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as the Game changes. The version number and effective date at the top of this page always identify the current text. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention — through the store listing, the Game itself, or this page — before it takes effect. Continuing to play the Game after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Policy. Earlier versions are superseded in full.
